Probably the largest and many pervasive situation in particular knowledge, along with my own, personal journey in knowledge, is special education’s connection to general education. History has shown that it’s never been a straightforward obvious reduce connection between the two. It’s not just the educators however who may play a role in the real history of specific education in this country. Physicians and clergy, including Itard- stated earlier, Edouard O. Seguin (1812-1880), Samuel Gridley Howe (1801-1876), and Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet (1787-1851), desired to ameliorate the neglectful, often abusive therapy of an individual with disabilities. Unfortunately, education in that state was, more frequently than not, really neglectful and abusive when working with students which are various somehow.
